Theo has been walked by a few of the walkers, but his favorite, and mine has to be Alicia. She gives Theo the right amount of attention he needs. Alicia Andrianus has been of utmost value to my family along with Angus and Sophie our two beloved dogs. As soon as Alicia came into our lives she was an obvious jewel. At that time, we only had one dog, Angus. Angus, literally fell in love with her. When she arrives at our house to take him hiking he is always beside himself with joy. The great thing is that she’s just as excited to see him. Sophie is a new addition to our family, and it’s exactly the same with her arrival.
Beyond the fact that our dogs adore Alicia—she has been of great service to us as I travel frequently. She easily amends our schedule as needed. Alicia is beyond trustworthy, dependable and clearly a very intelligent and educated young woman that anyone can trust.

Alicia was one of the first people we met at ActiveDog and our whole family will all be heartbroken when she leaves for Colorado! We have a gentle-giant of a black lab named Raven, and Alicia is one of his favorite people in this world. He has been taking hikes with her many times a week since he was six months old. I feel 100% completely confident for his safety when he is with Alicia, and know that he will be taken care of as if he is with us… she clearly loves and watches over these dogs as if they are her own. She leads large groups of dogs and has total control over the pack.
Alicia also take care of the clients; she is professional, punctual and attentive. Whenever I have had any question she has responded thoroughly and in a very timely manner, and she always keeps her clients informed of what they need to know.
I think that Alicia represents exactly what ActiveDog was meant to be when created … she leads a group of hard-working people that will love and care for your dog when you are not able to, or when you know that they will have better exercise, extra play and more fun than sitting at home or in a kennel. If I were to ever have to choose one individual outside of my family to take care of Raven, I would choose Alicia. That should be indication enough of how I feel about what she has done for our family through ActiveDog!

Katie took our Osi pup for his first hike yesterday — and we were absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. We had been looking for a service that would keep our dog active but also socialize him a bit more. We stumbled upon Active Dog, which has totally exceeded our expectations. Our pup had the greatest time yesterday and I know he will be looking forward to his weekly hike with Katie and the rest of the pack!
My schedule changes constantly, and Eric has always been incredibly flexible week to week with my dog walking needs. He is incredibly reliable, polite, and responsive. I always feel my dog, Beckett, is safe, well managed, and having fun when he is with Eric. Unlike most dog walkers, Eric takes the dogs for off leash hikes and swims so I know Beckett is well exercised and stimulated. Eric always goes above and beyond- welcoming Beckett in his home for overnights or providing daycare for a full 12 hour period when I have a long day away from home. When we needed last minute care one weekend, Eric even took Beckett on a weekend getaway to New Hampshire where they hiked Mt. Washington together. I now need a bumper sticker that says “My dog hiked Mt. Washington.”
Eric is not only very responsible, he treats the dogs as if they were his own. We have two labs, three kids under three, and full time jobs in NYC so thanks to Eric our dogs have a much better life with off leash walks 3+ times a week. Â Eric sends notes, takes pictures and offers suggestions for the dogs care based on what he sees. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
Katie and Active Dogs CO are amazing. Would never board in a kennel again now that I know this exists. Icey had fun playing with friends all week and Katie sent photos and shared videos on FB that brought joy to me. Thank you Katie!!
Katie boarded our 4 month old pup last minute at a very reasonable price. She came back very happy and tired after lots of hiking and playing.
I would trust Katie with any dog. She is experienced, enthusiastic, and professional. I am really excited that she is bringing Active Dog to Colorado! As an added perk, she is the only person I know who has successfully managed to get a group of dogs to pose for a picture.
